The Volcano series is an upgraded version of cast iron, featuring a highly durable, double-baked exterior coating and an interior enamel finish. The interior coating makes the cookware rust-resistant and eliminates the need for seasoning, while still providing the even-cooking properties characteristic of cast iron. These products are suitable for all types of stovetops, as well as for use in the oven at temperatures up to 220°C! CAUTION: To avoid thermal shock and damage to the enamel, do not place the cookware in water while it is still hot; wait until it has reached room temperature!
